Located by a private beach on a 16-acre piece of land south of Diani Beach; a rocky cliff separates it from the main stretch of beach making it secluded and peaceful. The area is classified as 'kaya' land and the surrounding sacred forest is protected by the National Museum.
Rooms and suites are set across five thatched cottages and two villas with each decorated with Swahili handicraft, local artifacts and antiquities and have their own personal charm.
A set three-course menu for lunch and dinner includes dishes made with locally grown fruit and vegetables and fresh fish and seafood direct from the Indian Ocean. The kitchen is happy to go off-menu for those that so desire. Guests can choose to dine in the restaurant or eat under a shaded tree by the beach, on top of a water tower for great views, in a wooden fishing boat on the beach, or in the evening, under the starlit sky.
Guests can blissfully spend their time by one of the two swimming pools, on the peaceful sugar-white sandy beach and lounging in the spacious garden or choose from a range of activities including tennis and coaching, a selection of watersports, snorkelling, scuba diving and daily yoga and exercise classes, and with a stable onsite there is the opportunity for horse-riding on the beach, in the sacred forest or the paddock.
