Day 1: Bangkok

Upon arrival at Bangkok Airport, be met by our English-speaking representative for the transfer to your hotel which includes a brief orientation tour of Bangkok.  Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure discovering some of the delights of Bangkok and of  your hotel for two nights The Siam Hotel. 

The Siam Hotel, located on  the verdant banks of the Chao Praya River, is home to Bangkok's most spacious suites, private pool villas, and an architectural delight, Connie’s Cottage. Superlative amenities are at guests’ fingertips here:  restaurants, cookery classes, bar, café, spa, gym, yoga terrace, Muay Thai boxing ring, beauty salon, library, cinema, infinity pool, and an antiques gallery.  Step into a beautifully decorated, Art Deco-inspired, Siam Suite and know that every feature, including oversized beds and bathtubs,  has been meticulously planned with one simple objective in mind: to help you relax. 

Day 2: Bangkok

Spend your day at leisure or you might like to consider joining some optional tours. 

Hacker-Craft Charter Boat: One of the best ways to explore Bangkok is by private boat.  Step aboard this world class brand of elegant custom-built motorboats to take in the illuminated cityscape and the tranquility of the magnificent Chao Phraya River. This exclusive experience creates wonderful memories of a lifetime.

Grand Palace & Wat Pho: Explore the grandeur and majesty of the Palace and its throne halls. See the most revered Buddha image in Thailand, the Emerald Buddha.  Continue to Wat Pho, home to the colossal reclining Buddha and also a traditional Thai massage school. The temple garden’s Bodhi tree is grown from a cutting, imported from India, of the original tree under which the Lord Buddha sat whilst awaiting enlightenment.

Blue Elephant Cookery School:  Welcome to a centuries-old mansion where you’ll discover the culinary wonders of Royal Thai Cuisine. The chefs here are passionate about providing high-quality lessons, regardless of your culinary ability. Housed in a renovated colonial-style building, the stunning architecture and beautifully decorated rooms give this cookery school an air of sophistication to match the cuisine. 

Day 3:  Bangkok to Chiang Rai  

After breakfast you’ll transfer by private limousine to Bangkok Airport for your flight to Chiang Rai where you’ll be met by our English-speaking representative.  A private luxury vehicle will transfer you from the airport to the pier for your boat trip along the Ruak River to Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle. 

Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle is located near the confluence of the Ruak and Mekong Rivers, in the heart of the Golden Triangle. This luxurious encampment overlooks three countries simultaneously: Thailand, Myanmar and Laos. Guests arrive by boat where thick stands of bamboo and other native trees envelop the camp adding to the tropical jungle atmosphere. Enjoy leisure activities in the extensive gardens or relax with pampering spa treatments.  Riverboat trips, and traditional crafts and cookery classes are available. Superior Tents feature rustic décor which reflects the culture of Northern Thailand. Outdoor showers and wooden hot tubs are particular highlights. 

Interact with rescued elephants, explore spectacular mountain trails, enjoy long-tail boat rides and bamboo jungle exploration. Let the 19th-century explorers’ spirit come to you, whilst enjoying Four Seasons’ signature hospitality and all-inclusive experiences. Your two nights here will include, all meals and beverages - including house wines and spirits, nightly sundowners, and one 90-minute spa treatment per person. 

Day 4: Chiang Rai 

Enjoy inclusive activities or a day at leisure at Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle.  

Day 5: Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai 

After breakfast be driven from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai and settle into your new hotel for the next two nights. 

137 Pillars House Chiang Mai is the epitome of old world elegance. Built around an original colonial teak homestead, it’s located in a leafy residential enclave, a few minutes’ walk from the historical Wat Gate Temple, Ping River and trendy Charoenrat Road boutique shopping area. The Dining Room offers breakfast, lunch or dinner in an al fresco or restaurant setting. Partake in afternoon tea at the gardens or the parlour of Baan Borneo House. Rajah Brooke Suites feature luxurious 400 thread count linen on four poster or super king sized beds with ultra comfy mattresses, and balconies with superb day beds.  The suites, with in-room entertainment systems, extend to airy vintage tiled verandas. 

Join an optional tour to see local life along the Ping River by a combination of traditional Thai wooden boat and three-wheeled bikes known as Samlors. 

Day 6 – Chiang Mai

Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Chiang Mai. Known as the Rose of the North, it is the former capital of the ancient Lanna kingdom. Chiang Mai has an abundance of temples and fascinating regional  architecture. The beautiful Buddhist temples and their ancient interior reflects architecture and faith from more than six centuries ago. With a flair for cuisine Chiang Mai has seen an explosion of fine dining options. There are also handicraft shops and art galleries and superb spa retreats.

Alternatively join an optional sun rise Hot Air Balloon Flight to appreciate the beauty of Chiang Mai from the air. 

Day 7: Chiang Mai to Phuket and Koh Yao Noi

After breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred by private limousine  to Chiang Mai airport for your onward flight to Phuket in the South of Thailand. On arrival at Phuket airport you’ll be transferred to Ao Po Grand Marina pier for your speedboat transfer to Koh Yao Noi your hotel for the next four nights, Six Senses Yao Noi. 

Six Senses Yao Noi is one of the finest barefoot luxury resorts in Asia and a perfect base from which to explore the secluded and secretive white sand beaches of Phang Ngay Bay.  Discover small uninhabited islands, tidal lagoons, jungle covered rocks, vertiginous cliffs, ancient mangrove forests, and bird’s nest gatherers in their hidden caves, as well as vibrant coral and tropical fish.  Other activities include kayaking, hiking, snorkelling and swimming.

A private infinity pool and the unique services of a Guest Experience Maker are particular highlights of your stay at a Six Senses Hide-Away-Pool Villa.  Enjoy lovely views out to the lush heritage plantation.  Villa offers very generous personal space, as well as a pool deck with loungers and an outside dining area.

Day 8: Koh Yao Noi 

Enjoy a day at leisure, explore the island, or take part in your choice of three optional activities. 

Explore Phang Nga Bay by private speedboat or more traditional long-tailed boat. Take in the sights immortalised in the James Bond film, The Man with the Golden Gun, see prehistoric cave paintings, and visit the Koh Panyi floating fishing village. 

Enjoy some spectacular Andaman sea destinations aboard your own private yacht charter, where every aspect of your trip is catered for by the crew from Six Senses Yao Noi.  

In the evening, head for a quiet island retreat where a personal chef will prepares a succulent dinner made from the finest and freshest local ingredients, to be enjoyed as the sun sets and the stars make an appearance.

Days 9 & 10: Koh Yao Noi 

Enjoy days at leisure when you might like to try Muay Thai Boxing, kayaking in Phang Nga Bay or individual restorative treatments at Six Senses Yao Noi Spa Village. And don’t forget to leave time for an evening movie, on the beach and under the stars, at Moonlight Cinema.  

Day 11: Koh Yao Noi to Phuket

After breakfast at leisure until your check-out time. Depart Six Senses Yao Noi by speedboat for  the Ao Po Grand Marina pier and continue by  private transfer to Phuket Airport to board your flight home or onwards to your next destination.
