This superb five star hotel is located on the exclusive Le Morne Peninsula and set against a dramatic mountain backdrop. The property sits directly upon one of the island's most beautiful stretches of powder white sands, with dolphins visible just offshore. The area is renowned for kite-surfing and is home to the One Eye kiting spot, which is famous amongst the surfing community.


Balinese-style guest bedrooms and suites are simple, elegant and comfortable and feature either mountain or sea views. Beachfront honeymoon junior suites, have a whirlpool bath. Although aimed at relaxation and romance there are two comprehensive children's clubs with a host of different activities. Classic junior suites, some of which are interconnecting are best suited to families.

There are no fewer than seven different dining venues and cuisine varies from Thai to Mediterranean, superb seafood and lobster, as well as Mauritian street food.

Five sculptured swimming pools are a feature of the hotel's grounds, one of which includes a swim-up bar. The Lux Me Spa is a particular highlight of the leisure facilities. Deep sofas, a hanging bed and a tree swing lie in the tropical gardens, there's an own-brand coffee shop by the beach and two hammocks in the sea.

Tailor-made experiences include pop up cinema evenings, dining experience in a Tree House and Sea urchin tasting at Vik's, the fisheman's shack. Given the location, kite-surfing is available on demand, and go pros and drones are available for hire. Mountain hiking, horse riding, guided bicycle rides and a PADI dive centre are activities which will appeal to the more active.
