LUX Belle Mare is beachside living at its best, there's a one kilometre-long sugar sand beach, glimmering lagoon and ocean breeze to enjoy. Rise early for a sun salutation at sunrise, sunbathe, enjoy the views at lunch at Beach Rouge, take walks in the early morning or late afternoon and go for frequent swims in the lagoon.

Reimagined suites and villas take their design cues from the surroundings. Each is designed to feel like a beach bungalow with shades of white sand with coral and citrus accents. The beauty is in the detail, such as tables cast in reclaimed local sand. All suites and villas have outdoor terraces or balconies. At dusk the room is magically lit to bring a warm tropical glow into the space, creating an intimate warm mood to end each day on a perfectly serene note.

Signature restaurant, Amari by Vineet, is a gem of contemporary Indian cuisine where earthy interiors evoke India's colour palette. The heady cuisine, a modern interpretation of India's rich heritage is signed Vineet Bhatia, the nation's first Michelin-starred chef. Choose from a la carte or exquisite tasting menus. Duck Laundry is the property's much-loved Chinese restaurant. Duck, one of the main features, is served in true Peking duck style. The menu also incorporates some of the most-loved Sichuanese, Shanghainese and Cantonese dishes. MONDO Aperitivo Bar starts the day serving healthy elixirs before shifting its ambience to a vibrant bar serving spritzes and other inventive cocktails as the sun sets.

LUX Belle Mare welcomes families big and small. The modern and mindful Kids Club, PLAY, welcomes children aged 3 to 11 years and Studio 17 is the dream hangout for the older crowd of tweens and teens. There's also a toddler space, and babysitting services to accommodate parents' date nights. There are nourishing and tasty kids' menus in all restaurants, and at Mondo, there's even a kids corner with tableware and a buffet of their size. Poolside, at one of the island's largest swimming pools, is an artisanal ice cream parlour. Families can book our interconnected beach hut-style suites with cabana days beds.

The LUX ME Spa personalized treatments focus on fluidity and incorporate movement such as Aerial Thai massage. The fitness centre's workouts are mindful and kinetic: assisted stretching, cardio, aerial fitness, and aquatherapy.
