Originally opened as The Pensione Belvedere in 1893, and beloved of, amongst others, Virginia Woolf, the Bloomsbury Group and King Farouk, this small pensione later became the hotel of choice for any number of prominent personalities including John Huston, Margot Fonteyn, Gina Lollobrigida and Humphrey Bogart.

Refurbished to the highest standards, Caruso, A Belmond Hotel, is an exquisite and sumptuously appointed hotel enjoying an elevated position on the highest point of Ravello, perched on a cliff top overlooking the spectacular Mediterranean of the Amalfi Coast.
