Hotel Miramalfi, Amalfi

Dramatically set into a cliffside, the family run Hotel Miramalfi boasts a fabulous location overlooking Amalfi's famous coastline. Built in the 1950's the hotel's interiors are a sleek and modern take on the traditional Mediterranean style and each of the guest rooms and suites enjoy striking sea views.

All 40 of the guest bedrooms have sea views, and deluxe rooms and suites with larger terraces are particularly recommended.

Dining options comprise Donna Emma, La Cucina Restaurant offering a combination of traditional and contemporary regional dishes combined with fine views of Amalfi's coastline. Azure Lounge Bar serves Campanian cuisine for lunch and finger food in the evenings. Mario's Lounge Bar is the best spot from which to observe sunsets.

A lift takes guests down to the seawater pool and sundeck, affording easy access to the sea, which is reached via a passageway carved into the rock and decorated with fine ceramic art. En route enjoy the typically Mediterranean scents of bougainvillea, jasmine and lavender.
