At the end of a country lane lined with oleander, bougainvillea and olive trees in the Puglian countryside, 3km from Pezze di Greco, the beautiful farmhouse of Masseria Montenapoleone has been lovingly transformed into a superbly cosy and intimate boutique hotel; retaining its original architecture and historic ambiance and blending perfectly with its delightfully rural surroundings.


Guest accommodation, carefully redesigned to retain its original beauty, is individually designed with quirky detail; rustic rooms featuring balconies overlooking the garden, cosy junior suites located in the old stables, superior suites enjoying balconies and private garden or veranda, and the romantic suite, set delightfully in a one hundred year old original cave dwelling.


There is a homely feel to this family run property which is adorned with paintings, carvings and sculptures by the resident artists, who uses everyday objects as a basis for his unusual creations.


Delicious regional cuisine, created mostly from home grown seasonal produce, is served in the dining room or al fresco on the terrace, and the owners encourage guests to pick their own fruit and tomatoes to enjoy, plus there is a kitchen and barbecue area for guests’ use, and cooking classes available.


The lovely freeform outdoor pool is surrounded by sun terraces and there are plenty of charming, flower-filled courtyards for relaxation, and bikes for exploring.


There are tennis courts and horse riding nearby and the nearest beach, Torre Canne, a 5 minute drive, the White City of Ostuni 20 minutes and Fasano 5km away.
