A rail & lake day trip
Enjoy the spectacular Centovalley mountain railway trip to Switzerland, returning by leisurely lake cruise. The rail journey stops in typically Italian Domodossola where the market square is perfect for a coffee before deciding whether to lunch at Locarno at the end of the train journey, or at Ascona's harbour; one of the many pretty stopping points on the way back along the lake to Stresa.
