Hammock Cove, Willikies

The adult-only, all-inclusive Hammock Cove overlooks a protected bay on Antigua's northeast coast close to Devil's Bridge National Park. A small private beach, of fine, light golden sand, is bookended by jetties and swimming platforms, whilst the resort's villa accommodation is dotted amongst manicured gardens.

Hammock Cove's 42 private villas feature an impressive outdoor living area with oversized balconies, infinity-edge plunge pools, sun-loungers, hanging chairs a private cocktail counter and fully-stocked wine fridge. Luxurious interiors include king-sized beds and spa-inspired bathrooms. Waterview villas feature picture-postcard bay or beach views.

There is a choice of two dining venues. Lighthouse features international fine dinner dining, expertly prepared by Executive Chef Marco Festini, accompanied by an extensive wine selection and the services of a sommelier. Irina's offers all day dining, including afternoon teas. Three bars offer a variety of settings, and the handcrafted cocktails are not to be missed.

A tiered infinity is found at the heart of the resort and leads down to the sandy beach and swimming and sunbathing decks. The resort's fitness centre features wellness activities and a yoga pavilion. Water sports include paddle boarding, snorkelling, pedalo and sailing boats. Cookery courses can be arranged as well as garden tours and nature walks to nearby Devil's Bridge.
