Akyarlar holidays

Just to the north of the Greek island of Kos, and on one of the southern most tips of the Bodrum peninsula, Akyarlar nestles in a tiny bay with a little harbour. A moon-shaped beach of soft white sand exerts a major appeal in this former fishing community. An uphill walk takes you to the heart of this charming village, where traditional café life continues unchanged beneath balconied buildings bedecked with wild flowers.
