Luxury Kiotari Holidays

On Rhodes' south-east coast the former fishing village and haunt of pirates, Kiotari, is nowadays home to several luxury hotels, villas and tavernas, and has become a popular destination for visitors from all over Europe.

Kiotari lies a few miles to the south of Lindos and just to the north of Prasonisi, a coastal area which has a strong following amongst the windsurfing community. Despite Kiotari's popularity as a beach resort, it retains much of its old charm and the ambience is more low-key and relaxed than other resorts of a similar size. The Monastery of the Transfiguration of the Saviour, dates back to Byzantine times, and is Kiotari's oldest building.

The second oldest building couldn't be more different; it's a landmark fish restaurant, called Stefano, which has amassed a loyal and devoted clientele since first opening its doors in 1924.
