Luxury Kranidi Holidays

The architecture of Kranidi has more in common with the neighbouring islands of the Saronic Gulf, than it does with the mainland Peloponnese of which it is part. Characteristic of the town are the traditional stone mansions decorated with beautiful balconies and special skylights. The town hall, library and churches, all of which date from the 19th century, are particular highlights. Pine forests, olive groves, windmills and traditional olive presses are features of landscape which is largely rural. From Kranidi there is an excellent view of the peninsula which bears the name Ermioni. The town offers a good selection of restaurants and cafes, and from the port village of Kosta, roughly 10km to the south, are sail boats to the island of Spetses which is more than worthy of a visit.
