Luxury Trapezaki Holidays

Trapezaki is a rural village set on a hillside above a bay on Kefalonia's south coast. The drive from the island's capital, Argostoli, takes about twenty minutes. This quiet and peaceful resort, with only a few tavernas and a couple of minimarkets, attracts people who wish to escape the crowds. With very little in the way of nightlife, most visitors spend the evening in one of the restaurant bars enjoying the tranquility of a warm Greek evening. The pebble beach is divided into two parts, both of which are quite narrow, by a horse-shoe shaped harbour home to no more than a dozen or so of the village's small boats used for fishing and leisure. The area surrounding Trapezaki is very rural with plenty of good tracks for those who enjoy rambling. Nearby are the villages of Karavados and Lourdas and the St George's Castle.
