Itinerary:

Day 1– Arrive into Florence or Pisa airport

Arrive into Florence or Pisa airport. Be met by your representative. Private transfer to your choice of hotel in Florence for three nights.

Day 2 – Florence

After breakfast enjoy a private walking tour of Florence with an English-speaking guide. Take in Santa Croce church, the Duomo, Giotto’s bell tower and the Piazza della Signoria. Visit one of Florence’s oldest ice cream parlours, with a chance to enjoy samples. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 3 – A full day tour of the Chianti region

A full day tour of the Chianti region with a driver-guide. Travel along the ancient Via Chiantigiana which connects Siena with Florence. At Castellina learn about aromatic herbs, before taking lunch in the wonderful city of Greve. Visit the city’s historical centre and sample the exceptional local cheeses.

Day 4 – Siena

Checkout. With your driver guide depart for a full day tour of Siena. Enjoy a private walking tour of Salimbeni Square, the majestic Duomo of Siena, and Piazza del Campo, known for its architectural beauty and home to the Palio horse race. After lunch explore UNESCO-listed San Gimignano. Transfer to your hotel of choice in Siena for two nights.

Day 5 –   Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino

With your driver-guide enjoy a full day tour of Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino. We recommend tasting the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and Pecorino cheese. After a light lunch admire Montalcino, an imposing Tuscan hilltop town enriched by the formidable reputation of Brunello wine.

Day 6 – Return to the UK 

Checkout. Private transfer to Florence or Pisa airport for your return journey, or continue your multicentre holiday with onward travel to your next destination.
